On July 24, Mr. Ryan Ban Tran was invited to speak on the topic of leveraging technology for sustainable smart agriculture at the 5th Annual Agribusiness & Economic Industry Summit at the United Nations.

July-22-2019 Wuhan University Tour Of Dominican Republic

On July 22, Mr. Guillermo Molina, head of business development for Trans International in the Latin America region, coordinated the official meeting between Wuhan University of China and Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) of Dominican Republic for a joint-academic program. Both Universities agreed to move forward to the next step, which is to enter into a formal MOU to initiate an academic and cultural exchange plan where Wuhan University will procure professors from China to teach about the Chinese language and culture at UNIBE, and UNIBE will procure professors from Dominican Republic to teach Spanish and the Caribbean / Latin American culture to China.

July-09-2019 United Nations ECOWAS Conference

On July 09, The Trans International team was invited to speak at the United Nations headquarter as part of a panel for the conference on "Round Table Discussion On Digital Technology In Sustainable Smart Agriculture," hosted by H.E. Ambassador Kone Tanou of ECOWAS and organized by Ms. Aurora Aquino.

Mr. Timothy Dupler (3rd from left), spoke about QSorb, a nano gel which can encapsulate the roots of plants, preventing water evaporation and enhancing water absorption to save cost on water and increase crop production by 50%.

 

Mr. Ryan Ban Tran (2nd from left) spoke about a waste to energy technology that can address the backend of sustainable agriculture by turning any kind of waste, including agricultural waste, into either electricity, steam or hot water.
