Mr. Iraj Kamalabadi serves as the Board Executive Director of Future Trends International (Group) Corporation (FTI), as well as the President and CEO of Future Trends Global Services (FTGS), an affiliated company and a technical arm of FTI. He possesses over 35 years of diversified experience in the field of Civil/Transportation Engineering with strong focus on program management, project management, and business development management. Mr. Iraj Kamalabadi is most known for his role as the Chief Engineer, overseeing a large portion of the design and construction of the "Boston Big Dig," the artery tunnels running beneath the city of Boston, which was known at the time as the most complex infrastructure project ever in history. He has also managed and successfully completed a wide range of infrastructure projects worldwide, including some mega projects in the United States, Malaysia, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and Lebanon.

 

Utilizing his senior expertise in large brand-name US corporate structure, Mr. Iraj Kamalabadi has contributed to the development of Future Trends International from a medium level company to an influential global player corporation. With his senior involvement, Mr. Iraj Kamalabadi has been able to set up, manage, and upgrade major international financial, governmental, and private entity in need of developing comprehensive infrastructure and contracting practice, either in the field of nation-wide infrastructure development, and in particular, freeways and complex urban transportation systems on his own; or in other fields of telecom, I.T., oil and gas, and various infrastructure systems, in collaboration with other Future Trends International partners, and affiliated companies and teams. In this capacity, and leveraging his high-level contacts, he has been instrumental in securing several international contract agreements for Future Trends group of companies. Main areas of concentration have been the United States, China, Middle East, and the Gulf Region.

 

In addition to his professional activities within the Future Trends Group of Companies, Mr. Iraj Kamalabadi is also the Co-founder of “People for Peace and Prosperity” (PFPP), a California Public Benefit Corporation that creates and promotes opportunities for individuals, communities, and institutions (both public & private), as well as empowering them to enhance their capacities for positive change in the society. He also serves on the Board of Directors for PFPP and Board of Advisors of Trans International Group.
